Mount Martha Barn

“Lauren and Phil are a pleasure to deal with. There are many so-called "interior designers" out there but nothing like Lauren who is degree qualified in the field and has international and local architectural office experience. With this background she brings the ability to properly advise on design layouts and has a great eye for detail. In turn her choice and advice on hard and soft finishes is impeccable. She has a wide industry supplier network to draw upon and is well respected in all areas. She is always my choice for interior designer.”

We worked to ensure that the interiors responded to the landscape of the beachside Mt Martha location. The house is an open-plan sanctuary with a modern design scheme of natural textures, including recycled red brick, birch plywood and recycled timber trusses. We referenced the Scandinavian barn, with blackened wood exterior and carried that idea inside. The interiors feel breezy, relaxed and refined.
