Colour & Materials Masterclass
Colour & Materials Masterclass
Unlock your design superpowers with this hands-on, all-in workshop.
Let’s be real: as a designer, you know that colour and materials are the magic ingredients that elevate a space from “meh” to “wow.” But sometimes, knowing how to mix and match the right shades, textures, and finishes can feel like trying to crack a code —this workshop is your cheat sheet.
This is what you'll learn:
Expert insight into colour theory, material pairings, and how to make the most out of both.
A hands-on approach that will leave you feeling confident and inspired, ready to tackle your next project with a fresh perspective. You'll be mixing paint and discovering how colour works in a very practical way.
The tools to create harmonious, stylish spaces using the perfect blend of colours and materials that complement each other.
Real-life examples and case studies that will help you see how these concepts come to life in actual interiors.
You'll arrange a colour and materials board in a practical exercise.
Take away my 6 step colour selection process.
Explore materiality; what's new, what works and what doesn't.

About me:
Teaching colour theory is something I first taught back 15 years ago! I've seen so many people have those 'ah-ha' moments when it comes to mixing up paint colours. It's so powerful combining a practical paint mixing exercise with colour theory so it was about time I helped others in this workshop too.
I'm a practicing interior designer with Sisällä recognised by interior design awards and publications. As an over-sharer I also help designers run their own practice and I have recently published two books with Thames & Hudson; The New French Look and Beachside Modern. I can't wait to help you discover how to use colour and materials.
